Spring preview today on the streets of Philadelphia. Everybody was out in the wrong clothes, because the weather shift was so sudden and because no one has the money to buy. But the mindset is depressionista, not fashionista and the cafes on Rittenhouse looked more European than noveau riche. Everybody was moving slower and smiling more. Maybe this season it will be style for real style and not dollar for fake dollar.
